(STATS) -- With first place on the line in the competitive Missouri Valley Football Conference, North Dakota State and Youngstown State might have to overcome a key loss on the offensive end if they hope to pull out a critical victory. Cheap Detroit Red Wings Jerseys .The Penguins are focused on redeeming themselves in their second conference showdown in three weeks after falling at South Dakota State on Oct. 22, but they may have to do it without quarterback Ricky Davis due to an undisclosed injury.Hopefully, we get off to a better start (than against the Jackrabbits) and dont get put behind the eight ball, YSU coach Bo Pelini said. You dont know how the game is going to go. You just never do.North Dakota State, meanwhile, could be missing leading rusher King Frazier after he injured his ribs in Saturdays 24-20 win at Northern Iowa. X-rays were negative, but the he might have cartilage damage and is questionable to play. The Jackrabbits, Bison and Penguins are currently tied atop the MVFC, but either No. 4 North Dakota State (7-1, 4-1) or No. 15 Youngstown State (6-2, 4-1) will be knocked from that perch on Saturday at the Fargodome. The Bison have won the past four meetings, including a thrilling 27-24 road win last November.Davis went 0 for 4 passing in that contest, though he ran for 61 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. The junior has thrown for 864 yards and rushed for 340 in six games. If he cant go, Hunter Wells will make his second straight start after completing 13 of 26 passes for 101 yards with two interceptions in Saturdays 13-10 win over Indiana State.Wells, a more traditional pocket passer, has gone a combined 24 for 46 for 239 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions in his two career games against the Bison. They run a lot of the same sets but the ability of the quarterback to carry the football is quite a bit different between the two guys, NDSU coach Chris Klieman said. Well have to be prepared for two guys that can do different things.Fraziers potential loss would be a big one for Kliemans squad, which is struggling offensively. The senior has run for a team-leading 579 yards and eight touchdowns. Sophomore running back Bruce Anderson is expected to miss another week. The Bison have averaged 20.7 points and 332 total yards in their last three games after putting up 31 points and 440.4 yards per contest over their first five. Sophomore quarterback Easton Stick tossed nine touchdowns and just two interceptions through the first five games, but hes now thrown just two scores with four picks over the past three.Stick threw for 176 yards and also ran in the go-ahead four-yard score with 35 seconds left in last years matchup. It certainly wont get any easier against the Penguins, who lead the conference in total defense with 276.1 total yards allowed per game. Avery Moss ranks second in the league with 8 1/2 sacks and third with 10 1/2 tackles for loss, while fellow senior defensive end Derek Rivers is third in sacks with eight and tied for fourth in TFL with nine. Its a great challenge, Klieman said. Everybody talks about their defensive ends -- theyre great players -- and Im really impressed with their front seven, but what really sets them apart is their ability to play man coverage.Youngstown State, however, is having its own troubles offensively as it ranks last in the MVFC at 23.9 points per game. The Penguins have averaged just 12.3 points in their last three after being held to 291 total yards by the Sycamores. We ran for almost 200 yards and moved the ball between the 20s a lot, Pelini said. We had opportunities for points. Obviously, we dont want to turn the football over and thats always (a concern). I thought we played better last week and did some good things, but you have to turn them into points. We just have to keep working to get better.Running backs Martin Ruiz and Jody Webb are a concern for Klieman, who saw Webb rush for a career-high 132 yards and two touchdowns on just five carries against the Bison last season. Ruiz is leading the way this year, ranking second in the conference with 86.9 rushing yards per game to go along with his seven touchdowns.YSU paces the league with an average of 237.8 rushing yards, but NDSU has held opponents to a MVFC-low 93.8 per game.Youve got to go in and earn it. It should be a good challenge, Pelini said. The fantasy basketball campaign is 170 days long. Cheap NBA Jerseys Free Shipping . Throughout this long hoops marathon, we must navigate a series of pivotal roster decisions, and for some of them well want to seek outside counsel. If you have a crucial trade to consider or a meaningful waiver transaction in the works, feel free to use the hashtag #FBAMailbag on Twitter or email me at jmccormickespn@gmail.com to potentially find a solution in this weekly mailbag series.#FBAMailbag Down big in Roto league, first year for keepers. Considering selling my non-keeper stars for keepers, what can I expect for KAT?- HoopsHead_1987 (@HoopsHead_1987) December 8, 2016Towns was drafted fourth overall on average in ESPN drafts this fall, so wed want to net a sizable haul for such a high-end investment. Even though Towns is only 17th on the Player Rater at this stage after finishing seventh overall last season, his scoring, minutes, 3-point and assist production are all up from last season. Some regression, in shooting efficiency and defensive metrics, has lowered his ceiling a bit, but with a higher usage rate and a higher PER (player efficiency rating) already this season, you should demand a real ransom for this standout sophomore.Since you are behind big in a rotisserie league -- which can prove daunting to mount a comeback -- it does make sense to market your top commodity for stellar keeper resources. If your league allows for multiple keepers, you can pursue a bevy of young assets in return. Names like Bostons Avery Bradley -- in the thick of his prime, ranked in the top 40 of the Player Rater and due heavy minutes in an efficient up-tempo scheme -- are ideal targets.Youll want more than just Bradley, so maybe seek out teams that have multiple core keepers; names like Clint Capela of Houston, Dennis Schroder of Atlanta and, of course, Joel Embiid come to name. I do advocate being first to market your star assets in a league like this, as recognizing the reality of a last-place roto roster can serve to bolster your future, and you can have a number of your leagues contenders bidding for Towns.@_JimmyMcCormick #FBAMailbag is it worth keeping Noel for when he returns from injured list for philly- Jason Gulden (@Jason84CubsNum1) December 8, 2016Word is Noel has rejoined the team in New Orleans on Thursday and could make his debut as early as this weekend. On the mend from preseason knee surgery, Noel is an intriguing fantasy asset to consider, given hes still floating in some shallower/short-bench formats. The fade angles for Noel are somewhat clear; the team has a glut of frontcourt assets with Jahlil Okafor and Embiid claiming high-usage roles from the pivot, while Ersan Ilyasova and Dario Saric share minutes and touches from stretch-four roles. Noel is also a compromised offensive commodity, with just 10.5 points per game on a sluggish .491 effective field goal percentage over his two seasons. Then again, the promotion points for Noel are even more impressive, as hes one of only three players in league history to average at least 10 points, eight rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 steals in each of his first two NBA seasons. The other two are these guys named Hakeem Olajuwon and David Robinson. The steals are entirely unique, as we find below.610+ players to average 1.7+ steals in multiple seasons: Hakeem Olajuwon (10x), Tom Gugliotta (3x), Nerlens Noel (2x), David Robinson (2x)- Derek Bodner (@DerekBodnerNBA) June 3, 2016Trade talks are also swirling around Noel, as he hasnt hidden his discontent with the teams talent traffic in the frontcourt. A trade wouldnt likely compromise Noels fantasy stock, as any team that invests in him would likely value his rare defensive prowess, which is where his impressive fantasy ceiling comes from. This is likely the nadir of Noels fantasy stock -- so yes, Jason, Id advise hoarding shares wherever possible. Whether its in Philly or an eventual new club, Noel is among the rarest defensive contributors to enter the league in a generation.@ESPNFantasy someone offered me Chris Paul and Marc Gasol for Rajon Rondo and Demarcus Cousins. Should I accept? #FBAMailBag- Paul S. John (@Paul_S_John) December 8, 2016A big blockbuster is always fun to consider. Even with the grand scale of the commodities involved, Id say yes to this deal. Rondo enjoyed a volume-driven season in Sacramento last year in George Karls fantasy-friendly scheme, but has experienced a 41 percent dip in assist production and a 35 percent deflation in steals, as he shares the rock with ball-dominant peers in the Chicago backcourt.Boogie is a fantasy monster, but he could also lose some upside with a potential trade. Its mostly about what your netting, though, as Paul is fifth on the Player Rater and Gasol is 18th. As ESPNs Zach Lowe shares below, Gasol is in the midst of a dime-driven pinnacle performance, which proves sustainable with Mike Conley ailing. You take a downgrade from Cousins to Gasol, but the overall profit margin with Paul is significant.Marc Gasol on pace for one of the highest assist rates ever for players 6-11 or taller: https://t.co/TgeNglNIfb- Zach Lowe (@ZachLowe_NBA) December 7, 2016@_JimmyMcCormick Do you think Kyle OQuinn is going to eventually start for the Knicks? Time to drop Noah and add OQuinn? #FBAMailbag- Uncle Reed (@The_Reed_) December 8, 2016Some fantasy hoops queries coming from Montana! This might read as pessimistic, but OQuinn might not require a coaching decision to earn an uptick in exposure and usage, as Noah played only 42 percent of his games over the past two seasons. Noah has been an unequivocal disappointment in New York, but the fact hes playing just 21.7 minutes per game for the Knicks suggests his starting designation is merely semantics. We cant trust OQuinn just yet, as the only valuable big on New York at this stage is Kristaps Porzingis. If Noah is ever injured for an enduring stretch -- a real possibility, given recent trends -- we can then discuss streaming OQuinn in standard fantasy formats.@_JimmyMcCormick @ESPNFantasy #FBAmailbag I was offered Nicola Vucevic and a player of my choice, (Curry, Wall, Jordan, AD) for Jimmy Butler- Joe Cook (@joecook37) December 8, 2016The player of your choice element is entirely intriguing, as you can net a double-double machine in Vucevic -- as hes 15th in the league with 16.7 rebounding chances per game -- and a complementary superstar. I would execute a deal, personally, as you can get a high-floor forward like Vucevic and your choice of three superstars (not including Jordan in this tier). It comes down to your team needs. I personally would assume the risks of Anthony Davis cathedral ceiling; as you immediately gain elite blocks, points and boards and, with the Magics glass-cleaner, make a substantial shift in rebounding. If you need 3-point volume and steals, Curry is obviously there for you. Im not a huge fan of taking on Wall here, especially with this pattern of sitting out the second leg of back-to-back sets. He does offer differentiation in assists, but I feel like you can get that elsewhere. A move of Butler for Davis and Vucevic bears some risk, but also some truly intriguing profit potential. Game 7 of the Western Conference finals drew a peak audience of 18 million viewers David Bakhtiari Jersey , making it the second-most watched NBA game in cable TV history.

Golden State’s victory over Houston on Monday night to earn a fourth straight trip to the NBA Finals averaged 14.8 million viewers for the TNT telecast, with the peak audience from 11 to 11:15 p.m. EDT. The network says Tuesday that only its coverage of the 2016 West finals Game 7 between the Warriors and Oklahoma City drew a larger audience for an NBA game on cable.

Overall, TNT’s 42 live playoff games averaged 4.9 million viewers C. J. Prosise Jersey , the network’s most-watched playoffs coverage since 2011.

ESPN averaged 13.3 million viewers for Cleveland’s Game 7 victory over Boston on Sunday, its second-best number ever behind only Miami’s clinching victory over Boston in 2012.

With Phase 3 of the offseason program soon to begin in most NFL cities, the chances of a player injury will increase. Of course Tommylee Lewis Jersey , the injury risk already was there during the less intense portions of the program.

Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports that Patriots defensive end Adrian Clayborn “tweaked” a quadriceps muscle during offseason workouts.

Clayborn’s availability could be limited for the Organized Team Activities, which begin on Monday. Either way, he’s expected to be ready for the start of training camp.

Reiss notes that the quad issue underscores concerns about Clayborn’s history of injuries Jaquiski Tartt Jersey , from an ACL tear (plus more knee damage) in 2012 to a torn biceps in one arm in 2014 to another knee injury in 2016 to a torn biceps in the other arm in 2016.

Clayborn had a career-high 9.5 sacks in 2017, six of which came in one game, against the Cowboys.

Nationals right-hander Erick Fedde left in the second inning of his start against the Boston Red Sox after throwing just 25 pitches.

Training staff and manager Dave Martinez went to check on Fedde after he allowed a single to Rafael Devers to lead off the second on Wednesday. After a long conversation Stefan Charles Jersey , Fedde walked off the field and was replaced by lefty Matt Grace.

The 25-year-old was coming off his first major league victory last weekend in Philadelphia.

Fedde entered the game 1-3 with a 6.00 ERA in five starts this season. His 2017 season ended in early September with a right forearm flexor strain.

Washington’s 2014 first-round pick had Tommy John surgery after being drafted. He’s 1-4 with a 7.23 ERA in eight starts during his career with the Nationals.

Buffalo Bills owner Kim Pegula doesn’t seem particularly optimistic about the chances of the Bills getting a new stadium in the greater Buffalo area anytime soon.

According to Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News, the current lease with Buffalo for New Era Field expires after the 2022 season.

鈥淚 don鈥檛 even know if we can get there,鈥?Pegula said.. 鈥淚 know fans in Buffalo don鈥檛 want higher ticket prices Cordrea Tankersley Jersey , they don鈥檛 want PSLs (personal seat licenses). The state doesn鈥檛 want to give you any money, the city doesn鈥檛 … We don鈥檛 have a billion-and-a-half dollars sitting around. We used it to buy the team.鈥?/p>

The venue replaced War Memorial Stadium as the home stadium for the Bills upon its opening in 1973 and has played host to the team ever since. It was renovated in 1998 and had additional renovations completed in 2014. An additional privately funded $18 million renovation is also in the works.

The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Soldier Field Robert Griffin III Jersey , Lambeau Field, Oakland Coliseum and Arrowhead Stadium are the only stadiums in the NFL older that New Era Field. However, the Rams and Raiders are leaving their homes for new stadiums in Inglewood Dwayne Allen Jersey , Calif. and Las Vegas in 2020, and Soldier Field and Lambeau Field have had significant renovations to their original designs done in 2003.

Needing a good night’s sleep Joe Montana Jersey , Jose Urena left the ballpark shortly after midnight Wednesday before the end of the Miami Marlins‘ 16-inning loss to Tampa Bay, monitoring the game on his phone as he drove home.

That made him perhaps the best-rested player when the teams returned to the field barely 12 hours later. And it showed.

Urena and three relievers combined on a four-hitter and the Marlins bounced back from their marathon loss to beat Tampa Bay 3-0.

J.T. Riddle singled, tripled and homered.

”There is a little bit of a hangover. I’m not going to lie,” Riddle said. ”You play 16 innings like that, and you come in eight hours later and have to play again, the body doesn’t feel the greatest. But it’s part of your job.”

While both teams were dragging, Urena looked fresh in his first outing since June 20, when he was sidelined by right shoulder impingement. He pitched five scoreless innings and struck out six before departing for a pinch hitter after throwing 78 pitches.

”Everything was good,” Urena said. ”I felt I could go longer, but I haven’t thrown that much the past 12 or 13 days.”

Drew Rucinski (4-1) pitched two scoreless innings for his second win in the series. Brad Ziegler pitched around a walk in the ninth to earn his 10th save.

The Marlins took the series and went 5-5 on their longest homestand of the year. The Rays lost for only the third time in the past 12 games.

Riddle’s RBI triple in the sixth put the Marlins ahead. The ball appeared catchable Kam Chancellor Jersey , but sailed over the head of center fielder Kevin Kiermaier near the wall.

Riddle added his fifth homer in the eighth.

Three Rays – Kiermaier, Daniel Robertson and Jake Bauers – started after playing all 16 innings Tuesday. They went a combined 0 for 11.

”Urena pitched well,” manager Kevin Cash said. ”He kind of changed his approach a little bit, started throwing fastballs in to the lefties and away to the righties. That has generally not been his M.O.”

TANTRUM

When the Rays’ Carlos Gomez returned to the dugout after striking out in the second inning, he took three swings at a cooler, and the resulting thuds could be heard throughout the ballpark.

”He squared it up pretty good, it sounded like,” Riddle said.

Gomez then punched another cooler, which sent cups flying over the dugout railing.

Despite all that solid contact, Gomez is batting only .195.

”When I’m angry James Harrison Jersey , I’m not thinking really well,” he said. ”If they fine for me this, I’ve got enough money to pay.”

Gomez said he was upset because he was hit by a pitch during the at-bat, and the umpire blew the call. He was jeered in subsequent at-bats by the crowd of 7,572.

UP AND DOWN

After using nine pitchers Tuesday, the Rays called up right-hander Ryan Weber from Triple-A Durham as reinforcement. Weber (0-1) allowed two runs in five innings and was optioned after the game back to Durham.

”I knew I was coming up to get the team innings, and that’s what I did,” Weber said. ”I kept the pitch count low so they could keep running me back out there. That’s all I could have asked for.”

TRAINER’S ROOM

Rays: RHP Chris Archer (left abdominal strain) felt fine after a rehab start and could rejoin the rotation as early as Monday against the Tigers. … LHP Vidal Nuno (right hamstring strain), who earned the victory Tuesday and contributed two hits before he was hurt, went on the 10-day disabled list. … RH Wilmer Font (right lat strain) was transferred to the 60-day DL.

Marlins: OF Lewis Brinson (left hip inflammation) Spencer Ware Jersey , batting only .186, was placed on the 10-day disabled list. … 3B Martin Prado (left hamstring) and 1B-OF Garrett Cooper (bruised right wrist) are expected to be activated for the upcoming series at Washington. … Miami recalled LHP Dillon Peters from Triple-A New Orleans.

UP NEXT

Rays: Following a day off, the Rays play a three-game series at the Mets, with RHP Ryne Stanek (1-2, 1.98) expected to start.

Marlins: RHP Pablo Lopez (1-0, 3.00), who beat the Mets in his major league debut Saturday, is scheduled to start Thursday when Miami opens a four-game series at the Nationals.

Miami is 6-16 against Washington since the start of 2017.

”We’ve had our trouble with those guys,” manager Don Mattingly said. ”They’ve beat us up pretty good the last couple of years.”

Two-time Olympic super-G medalist Andrew Weibrecht is stepping away from ski racing after a lengthy career with the U.S. team.

Weibrecht announced his retirement Tuesday in a Facebook post. He earned a bronze medal at the 2010 Vancouver Games and captured silver four years later in Sochi.

The 32-year-old Weibrecht started his first World Cup race on Nov. 30, 2006 Nick Vannett Jersey , in Beaver Creek, Colorado. His best World Cup finish was second during the super-G in Kitzbuehel, Austria, on Jan. 22, 2016.

Nicknamed War Horse, Weibrecht came up with teammates such as Steven Nyman and Ted Ligety. Weibrecht said in his post: ”Man were we dorks … But hey, we were young and having a great time.”

Weibrecht dealt with ankle, shoulder and knee injuries over his career.

13. WASHINGTON REDSKINS (7-9)

LAST SEASON: Injuries and inconsistent play on both sides of ball kept Redskins from staying competitive in NFC wild-card race. Without consistent running game and behind often patchwork offensive line Latavius Murray Jersey , quarterback Kirk Cousins still threw for 4,000 yards with 27 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. Defense was bigger issue against run and pass. Loss of rookie defensive lineman Jonathan Allen hurt pass rush and run defense, so opposing QBs carved up secondary. Cousins is gone, replaced by Alex Smith, and Redskins President Bruce Allen is tweaking defense. Inside linebacker Zach Brown was bright spot and led NFL in tackles before missing final two games and will return. Team is counting on big season from cornerback Josh Norman and growth of Quinton Dunbar after pass defense struggled in 2017.

THEY NEED: RB, WR, LG, DL, LB, S, CB

THEY DON'T NEED: OT, TE Tarvarius Moore Jersey , K, P, LS

POSSIBLE FIRST PICK: DT Vita Vea, Washington; CB Denzel Ward, Ohio State; S Derwin James, Florida State; DT Da'Ron Payne, Alabama; ILB Roquan Smith, Georgia; RB Derrius Guice, LSU; DB Minkah Fitzpatrick, Alabama

OUTLOOK: Running back is top priority, even if not in first round. Redskins have so many holes to fill on defense they should go that side of ball in first round after top three picks last year started building process. Replacing traded linebacker/safety hybrid Su'a Cravens, bolstering defensive line and finding defensive backs will be on docket. First draft without help of former general manager Scot McCloughan DeForest Buckner Jersey , who has fingerprints on 2017 picks despite being fired in March; he helped build list of prospects. Super Bowl MVP-turned-senior VP of player personnel Doug Williams will rely heavily on new director of college scouting Kyle Smith, son of A.J., for insight. With Alex Smith signed for foreseeable future, Redskins are in win-soon mode, so this crop's success or failure could be make or break.

William Karlsson and the expansion Vegas Golden Knights proved they can handle some adversity just as well as they can thrive as front-runners like they did most of their inaugural season.

The Golden Knights bounced back after allowing a late tying goal in regulation when Karlsson scored 8:17 into overtime to lead Vegas to a 4-3 victory over the San Jose Sharks on Monday night and a 2-1 series lead.

”I think it’s good for the morale,” Karlsson said. ”We showed great attitude. Again, they came back. It was tough, too, but we gave someone a chance to be an overtime hero.”

Karlsson was that hero – just as he has been so much this season. He scored 43 goals in the regular season and has added three more this series, but none was bigger than the wrist shot in transition that beat Martin Jones high to the stick side, sending the Golden Knights into a wild celebration around the player knows as Wild Bill.

It was an impressive bounce back from their first loss of the playoffs in double overtime at home in Game 2 and wouldn’t have been possible without Marc-Andre Fleury, who made 39 saves to hold off an early push by the Sharks and then robbed Logan Couture with a glove save in overtime.

”I was looking at the guy with puck. I just tried to follow the pass and get out there a bit and I had a little time to react on it Michael Strahan Jersey ,” Fleury said. ”It was a good feeling.”

The Sharks rallied to tie the game and force a second straight overtime with two goals in the third period. Evander Kane scored just seconds after the end of a power play midway through the third to set the stage for Hertl.

Hertl drove to the net with a strong power move. With the Sharks swarming in front of Fleury, Hertl whacked at a loose puck and knocked it in for the equalizer with 1:57 to go, sending the towel-waving crowd into a frenzy.

”I believe our game’s there and I think everyone in here would tell you that,” captain Joe Pavelski said. ”We got caught on the wrong end of it tonight. We had a big one the other night.”

Colin Miller, Jonathan Marchessault and Reilly Smith scored in a span of less than five minutes in the second period to put the Golden Knights in control, but they couldn’t hold onto the lead.

Timo Meier opened the scoring with a power-play goal for the Sharks, but undisciplined play in the second period helped erase that lead and put San Jose in a hole.

Brenden Dillon held David Perron to give Vegas a power play less than a minute after Meier’s one-timer off a perfect cross-ice pass from Chris Tierney gave the Sharks the lead.

San Jose had an 11-1 edge in shots on goal in the period at that point as the Sharks were controlling the play. But that quickly turned as James Neal held the puck below the goal line and fed Miller with a pass that Marc-Edouard Vlasic nearly broke up for a tap-in that tied the game.

About three minutes later, Hertl was called for roughing Neal well behind the play, giving the Golden Knights another chance with the man advantage.

They converted again when Marchessault one-timed a cross-ice pass from Alex Tuch past Jones to give Vegas the lead.

Smith then capped the three goals in 4:46 when Marchessault fed Karlsson, who was left alone at the side of the net. He deftly sent a blind, backhand pass through the crease to Smith, who tapped it in for the 3-1 lead.

”He’s got eyes in the back of his head sometimes Reggie Ragland Jersey ,” Smith said. ”He’s a great player and he makes great plays.”

The Sharks came out energized by a raucous crowd and the presence of celebrity door opener and San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo in their first home game of the series.

San Jose got 16 shots on goal in the first period, but were unable to get anything past Fleury, who rebounded well from his first loss of the postseason.

”To come out of that first period 0-0, we need to find a way to get the lead,” coach Peter DeBoer said. ”We’re chasing the game the whole series here. Even when we have a quick start like tonight, Fleury is shutting the door and finding the way to let them hang around until they can get something going, which is what happened.”

NOTES: Sharks F Joonas Donskoi (lower body) sat out. Chris Tierney took his place on the top line with Barclay Goodrow slotting in on the third line. … F Tomas Tatar returned after missing the past four games as a healthy scratch. He took the place of Ryan Carpenter.

Police in Massachusetts have arrested a man in connection with a burglary at New England Patriots player Rob Gronkowski's home while he was at the Super Bowl.

Foxborough police say 31-year-old Anthony Almeida was charged Friday with breaking and entering Kendall Wright Jersey , receiving stolen property and malicious destruction of property after his home in Randolph was searched.

Gronkowski's home in Foxborough was burglarized in February while his team was in Minnesota to play against the Philadelphia Eagles. The tight end's roommates also reported items stolen. Authorities have recovered an Apple watch, a Rolex watch and some rare coins so far.

Police say they're seeking two other suspects: 26-year-old Shayne Denn Adam Butler Jersey , of Tewksbury, and 28-year-old Eric Tyrrell Jermon Bushrod Jersey , of Foxborough.

Almeida was arraigned Friday. It's unclear whether he's represented by an attorney.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has joined the ownership group of the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks as a limited partner.

The Bucks made the announcement Friday night between the first and second quarters of Game 3 of their Eastern Conference playoff series against the Boston Celtics. The Bucks say that Rodgers is the only active NFL player to be a limited partner of an NBA team.

Sitting next to girlfriend Danica Patrick and Bucks co-owner Wes Edens, Rodgers received a warm welcome from the sold-out crowd when his face was shown on the video board at the Bradley Center.

Rodgers in a statement says the opportunity is a "dream come true" for him. A big fan of the NBA Mark Bavaro Jersey , Rodgers has also cheered on the Wisconsin Badgers in the NCAA Tournament.

Johnny Manziel will get in a game for the first time in Canada this week Dustin Colquitt Jersey , but he’ll be coming off the bench as a backup as the Canadian Football League preseason kicks off.

Hamilton Tiger-Cats coach June Jones says last year’s starter, Jeremiah Masoli, 鈥渁bsolutely鈥?remains the starter both for the preseason opener on Friday and for the regular season opener on June 16.

鈥淢asoli is going to play until I feel good about it,鈥?Jones said of the starters’ playing time in the preseason game. 鈥淎nd then the rest of the game will be whatever we decide 鈥?15 plays each, or whatever.鈥?/p>

Jones said he likes what he sees from Manziel, but Manziel is not ready to run the full offense yet.

“His footwork has gotten a lot better. When things break down he’s doing what we ask. All those things,” Jones said. “It’ll be a while I’m sure before he’s comfortable with all the routes we’re running, but I bet if we had the first [string] guys in there with him he’d come along a lot faster.”

Manziel seems to understand that.

“I’m going to have to earn my stripes up here,” Manziel said. “I’m going to have to work extremely hard to do what I want, and that’s come and play at a high level.”

Manziel’s long-term goal is to get back in the NFL. But first he’s going to have to show he can start in the CFL. He hasn’t done that yet.

Mitchell Trubisky is tired of it all.

The Chicago quarterback has no use for the critics. And when it comes to social media Emmanuel Lamur Jersey , he's taking a breather, too.

All Trubisky wants is to start training camp and see just how far the Bears can go in his second season after finishing last in the NFC North the past four years.

They came into their first practice Friday believing they are in a better position after a busy offseason. Whether they deliver largely hinges on the guy behind center.

"I'm tired of all the doubts, all the comparisons," Trubisky said. "I don't really pay attention to that. I'm tired of waiting. I'm just excited camp is here and we'll see what we can do for Year 2. So all of that stuff, I can't control none of that. All I can do is control my attitude and my effort and go out there and play the game the way I know how."

Don't ask him about the improvements Carson Wentz and Jared Goff made from Year 1 to Year 2 last season. Trubisky isn't all that interested.

The same goes for any outside critiques and distractions, so he's taking a break from social media.

"(I'm) going Zero Dark 10," he said, referencing his jersey number.

Trubisky, who hasn't posted on Twitter since July 2, said he and guard Kyle Long decided to lay off social media and focus on football Cory James Jersey , instead.

"I'm trying to put all my focus and energy into this game and what I have to do," he said. "And whatever anyone else says on the outside, whether it be positive or negative or hype or just trying to tear me down, it really doesn't matter to me. I know who I am, I know what kind of player I can be, I know my role on this team so that's really what I'm looking forward to prove to myself and my team."

Trubisky said he read a few too many comments from people who didn't know what they were talking about. He saw no reason to "let that enter my head," so he decided to block it out completely.

"For me it's just eliminating distractions and putting all my time and effort into what's important," he said.

As Trubisky goes, so probably go the Bears.

General manager Ryan Pace went all in when he traded up a spot with San Francisco to draft him with the No. 2 overall pick in 2017, staking his reputation to a quarterback with just 13 starts at North Carolina. The Bears also spent this past offseason surrounding Trubisky with the pieces they think will help him succeed Trent Taylor Jersey , hiring an offensive-minded coach in Matt Nagy, signing former Pro Bowl receiver Allen Robinson and bringing in some more play-making targets.

"The kid genuinely cares about the game of football and his position," Nagy said. "He wants to be the greatest teammate on this team and he knows that if he does that, he'll make guys around him better."

Trubisky is in a far different spot than he was this time last year, when he began camp as the No. 3 quarterback. The Bears switched to Trubisky after Mike Glennon struggled through the first four games. But it was clear even in the preseason that he was the better option.

Now, Trubisky is front and center. It is clearly his huddle, his team. He is the leader.

The training wheels are off. Or, as Long put it, "He's got some facial hair and he's got some bass in his voice."

And Trubisky welcomes it.

"I feel a lot more comfortable than last year," he said. "I know my role Obi Melifonwu Jersey , I know exactly what I need to do, I know the offense. I can just go out there and be myself. I know everybody on the team, I've earned their respect and trust and I'll continue to do so through my work ethic and how much I care about this team and this game."

Notes: Rookie LB Roquan Smith remained unsigned and missed the first training camp practice. He was Chicago's first-round draft pick at No. 8 overall. "Roquan is a great kid, a great football player and when the time comes for him to be here, he'll be out here and he'll get those reps back," Nagy said. ... LB Danny Trevathan and CB Sherrick McMcManis missed practice because of hamstring injuries, while WR Josh Bellamy sat out because of strep throat, Nagy said. He said Trevathan's and McManis' injuries were not serious.

Another offseason 12th Fan Jersey , another new head coach for quarterback Marcus Mariota to get to know along with a different offense.

Yes, a little experience with such changes can help make transitions a bit easier.

It's not something Mariota wants to become a way of life in the NFL.

"But I think being able to have gone through that situation before, it's helped all of us to be ready and prepared for this new stuff," Mariota said Wednesday.

Mariota, the No. 2 pick overall in the 2015 draft, is heading into his fourth season with the Tennessee Titans with his third different head coach. He started with Ken Whisenhunt, who lasted only seven games into Mariota's rookie season. The Titans fired his replacement, Mike Mularkey, in January despite back-to-back 9-7 seasons and their first playoff win in 14 years.

Now first-time head coach Mike Vrabel is in charge with Matt LaFleur as his offensive coordinator and Pat O'Hara as quarterbacks coach. The Titans hired Vrabel wanting more out of both their offense and Mariota, whose fifth-year option was just picked up.

"It's a process. It takes some time Mason Crosby Jersey ," Mariota said. "Everybody is doing their best to learn the playbook, learn about each other. It takes time and I think a lot of the guys would probably say the same thing. As we go through this process, if we continue to learn more about each other, we continue to communicate, all the stuff on the field will take care of itself."

Mariota is the youngest quarterback in franchise history to lead the team to a playoff victory with an amazing 18-point comeback in a wild-card win at Kansas City . He also became the fifth quarterback in NFL history with at least 9,000 yards passing (9,476) and at least 900 yards rushing (913) in his first three seasons.

But Mariota also had more interceptions (15) than touchdown passes (13) last season, though he had four TDs and only one interception in two playoff games.

Luckily for Mariota and the Titans, the quarterback is as healthy as he's been since being drafted at this time of year. His rookie season ended with a sprained knee, and he broke his right leg in the next-to-last game of his second season. A year ago Lester Hayes Jersey , he wasn't allowed on the field while he recovered .

"It's kind of crazy to think about where I was last season at this time, and now here I am today," Mariota said. "Being able to run out there and compete, and practice with these guys, it's night and day and I'm just excited to be out there with the guys."

Mariota got to work on chemistry with some of his wide receivers in March in California.

The process of learning the new playbook started April 9 with the start of the Titans' offseason program, and Wednesday was the second of a three-day voluntary minicamp the Titans were allowed with Vrabel being a new coach. This is all new for Mariota along with Blaine Gabbert, signed in March as Mariota's new backup.

Learning the new names for the plays is the first hurtle. Vrabel said he knows players tend to look at a play call and translate to what they used to call it.

"You have to try to train them to understand the new language and the verbage," Vrabel said. "I think there's also a give and take where, 'OK, if everybody is familiar with that Lee Smith Jersey , well then we'll make it that or we'll call it that.' I think that's where you try to blend the different systems."

Mariota isn't tipping how different this offense might look just yet either. He's focused on learning and making sure the offense is on the same page.

"It's an ongoing thing," Mariota said. "But, I love learning and doing my best to put everything that we learn out on the field."

Attorneys for a Guatemalan man living illegally in the U.S have ended their effort to have his confession thrown out in a suspected drunken-driving crash that killed Indianapolis Colts linebacker Edwin Jackson and his Uber driver.

Attorney John Tompkins told Marion County Judge Grant Hawkins during a Tuesday pre-trial hearing for Manuel Orrego-Savala that he had withdrawn a motion to suppress his client's statements to a state trooper after the Feb. 4 crash in Indianapolis.

Investigators said in a probable cause affidavit that Orrego-Savala admitted to the trooper that he was driving the pickup truck involved in the crash.

His attorneys had argued in a motion filed Feb. 20 that Orrego-Savala's admission shouldn't be allowed because he wasn't first read his rights.

Orrego-Savala, 37, faces four felony charges in the crash that killed Jackson, 26, and his Uber driver, Jeffrey Monroe, 54, as the two men stood outside Monroe's car along Interstate 70 in Indianapolis. Investigators said Monroe was transporting Jackson for the ride-sharing service Duke Riley Jersey , and had pulled over after the football player became ill.

Orrego-Savala had a blood-alcohol level of 0.19 percent, which is more than twice Indiana's legal limit of .08 percent, according to court documents. He remains jailed and a not guilty plea has been entered on his behalf.

Orrego-Savala was deported from the U.S. in 2007 and 2009 and was back in the country illegally at the time of the crash, authorities said.

The case became a flash point in the nation's immigration debate, with President Donald Trump tweeting about it and Republican U.S. Senate candidate Mike Braun featuring it in an Indiana campaign advertisement.

Although Orrego-Savala's attorneys have withdrawn their motion to suppress the confession they can again seek to have it thrown out if they wish, said Ryan Mears, chief trial deputy for the Marion County Prosecutor's Office.

Hawkins approved an order Tuesday requiring Orrego-Savala to provide a DNA sample prosecutors have sought after his attorneys did not oppose their request.

Mears said that sample will be compared to DNA found in a pickup truck to determine Orrego-Savala's presence in that vehicle. He said those tests will "certainly be helpful if his DNA is found at the scene, particularly inside the vehicle we think he was driving."

Prosecutors have also said the sample would confirm his identity, noting that he has used various aliases.

Orrego-Savala's next pre-trial hearing in the case is scheduled for May 18.
